The Adventures of My Traveling Boy

When Steven and I first got engaged the plan was that I was going to move to Vegas (where he was living at the time) to be closer to him. While we were making all of the arrangements for me to move there his dad randomly got offered a great job in AZ. Talk about convenient...well, for me. So instead of me moving to the Vegas Steven picked up and moved to the valley of the sun with his dad while the rest of the family stayed in Vegas. In doing this, Steven left most of his belongings back in Vegas.

To make things a bit more confusing Steven's dad got offered another (better) job in Florida. So instead of the family all moving to Arizona his dad, mom, and youngest sister moved to Florida, leaving Steven's belongings with a friend in Vegas.

That leads me to my blog title.

At 12:00 pm on Friday Steven and his dad headed towards Vegas to pick up the rest of Steven's stuff. As soon as they got there they turned right back around and made it home at about 12:30 am. Not something I would really want to do on a Friday night... or any night really.

Then, on Saturday one of Steven's dearest friends, Twan, flew into town from Utah to pick up a car he bought at an auction. The plan was that we were going to pick up Twan, drive him to his car and then we would say our goodbyes and be on our way.

Well, when Twan got to the airport he told Steven that his mom (Twan's mom not Steven's) would buy Steven a plane ticket home if he rode with Twan to Utah to keep him safe (understandable.) So we spent some great quality time with Twan, and on Sunday morning they were off. And I went to church by myself for the first time since we have been married and I'm glad I did because they had the Primary Program. I have a testimony of primary programs. They are so true. Amen.

So that is the story of why my husband was in 3 states in one weekend. I missed him. My Christmas wish is for us to have a relaxing weekend. Is that too much to ask?
