Easter candy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

But seriously. My husband can tell you about my loss of appetite for real food due to my obsession with Easter candy. It's gross. But awesome? Darn my sweet tooth. Tooth? I meant teeth. All of them.

Anyways, I would LOVE to post pictures of our trip, Easter, our anniversary, and so on but my memory card is deciding not to work and I can't find the cord for the computer... but when I do there will be a serious picture over load. You have been warned.

Did everyone have a chance to watch conference? I loved it. I had some nice reminders of who I am, and what I am supposed to be doing. Sometimes I forget that I am a daughter of God and how special that is. But, I know that am divine and that He loves me.

A couple years ago when I was a participant at EFY my counselor shared a song with us. Listening to the song was kind of my ah ha moment and everything made sense. I knew who I wanted to be no matter what. I have shared this song with many friends, my husband, and the Young Women I work with now. So... here are the lyrics if you would like to read them.
BEAUTIFUL TO HIM
So much noise, so much peace destroyed,
I can hardly hear the voice, leading me through the void,
So much noise.
The world's little lies,
Destruction in disguise, opportunities to compromise,
To make me beautiful in their eyes,
But I'm not gonna buy the world's little lies.

'Cuz I define myself and find my beauty in the light He gives.
I'm refined by His divine intentions every day I live.
It doesn't matter what the world believes,
Or what they say that beauty means,
It comes from within,
I want to be beautiful to Him.

He's given me His trust, so I'll be strong enough,
To run from a dangerous touch, I don't need that kind of love,
I don't need that crutch, He's given me his trust.

I define myself and find my beauty in the light He gives.
I'm refined by His divine intentions every day I live.
It doesn't matter what the world believes,
Or what they say that beauty means,
It comes from within,
I want to be beautiful to Him.

I know how to shine, my life's not really mine.
It's not about a worldly climb, it's all about His design.
So in His eyes, I want to shine.

'Cuz I define myself and find my beauty in the light He gives.
I'm refined by His divine intentions every day I live.
It doesn't matter what the world believes,
Or what they say that beauty means,
It comes from within,
I want to be beautiful to Him.

I want to live to have His peace,
And feel the holiness He seeks.
It comes from within.
I want to be beautiful... to Him.

If you made it all the way through that, I am impressed. This song is really special to me.
I hope that everyone has a great day! In my opinion this is most wonderful time of the year!

  1. I also have a wicked sweet tooth. What an amazing song that is. Thanks for sharing it! It's true - there's "so much noise" - it's hard to shut out all the lies and focus on eternal things. Thank goodness for things like conference, church, scriptures, etc. that help us get back to what is important.
