Our weekend without Winston.

I am the worst at following up. Remember this post? <---- Click there to get to the post.
Well some of you may be interested to hear that Steven and I decided to leave Winston with my parents for the weekend. Thank you for all the wonderful advice. Although we missed him, leaving him for the weekend was a great idea. But, we won't be doing that too often. We went with two other super fun couples and stayed up way to late every night.
The weather in Greer was surprisingly freezing. But during the day, when the sun was hitting me directly, it was kind of warm. (For those of you who don't know, Greer is about 3 1/2 hours away from where we live in Mesa.)
Steven was the grill master for the weekend. We ate gooood.

Shannon and Madison.

Why? This is Ken pretending to lick the spider that we found on his back. Yum yum.

I need posing lessons. What am I doing?

Playing games. And my husband is making a cute face, no?

We did not actually spend money on these babies. Madison found these so we wore them, naturally.

Our game faces .

The whole group.

In honor of my Birthday, Steven, made me a peach and berry cobbler. I think I will request that for dessert tonight.

This one is for my sister in law. Obviously.

Like I said, freezing. Lucky for me I fit in Steven's jacket.

How adorable is this cabin?

This was such a fun trip. Can't wait for the next one!

  1. That cabin is niiiiiiiiiiice. How fun! Sorry you were freezing the whole time. That's how I am all the time. Cold, cold, cold. I turn on the heating blanket every dang night. Still. In May.
