So let's backtrack a little bit to... Mothers Day.
Besides Christmas Mothers day is my very favorite holiday. I feel like it's the only holiday that celebrates something that I have actually earned. And it feels good. Steven was amazing. He made me a delicious breakfast of waffles, bacon, and eggs all before our 9:00 church. What a trooper.
The highlight of my Mothers Day was the gift that Steven gave me. He was so excited to give it to me that he gave it to me a day early.
A couple weeks before mothers day I told him that all I wanted for the special day was professional family pictures and a necklace with a W on it for Winston from etsy. He told me that he thought that getting a necklace with a W on is was a stupid idea because when we have more kids they will be left out... He had a point so I let it go and figured I would not be getting it.
The day before Mothers Day Steven walks into our condo and told me to cover my eyes because he had my gift... and this is what happened...
As soon as my eyes opened and I saw the box all I could say was, "You went to Tiffany's?" After our previous conversation and he shot my idea down I was shocked that he got me a necklace.
So, he told me that as we have more kids he will buy me a new charm to add on the chain. He seriously surprised me and I could not have asked for a better Mothers Day.
P.S. Steven is leaving me for 11 days starting tomorrow. Te longest we have ever been apart was one night. I am just a little bit sad.
