Honest

Tonight I came to the harsh realization that I have become one of those bloggers that I am not particularly fond of. I am one of those that glamorizes my life and try to make it seem perfect so that I appear better. That is the honest truth. Now that I think about it I am not really sure why I write this blog in the first place... I mean, I write it for me kind of as a journal to look back on... but I also like to pretend that people read this blog and for those who do I vow, yes vow, that I am going to write more honestly. Even though I am not really sure if anyone reads this blog anymore and being more honest may not change anything I am going to do it for me. It will just make me feel better.
So, with my new outlook I will also be redoing the blog.
Yes, I feel good about this.

  1. I read your blog!!! :) You should look at your "stats" button when you first sign into blogger. That will make you feel better about how many readers you have. See, I don't have a life, so... I comment more. :) It's mainly because I'm at work and I'm bored. So I read blogs and comment probably way too much.

  5. I read your blog. Honestly, your optimism is refreshing. It's so wonderful to see a new mom absolutely in love with her new little one. From where we're standing, the most frustrating (and hurtful) thing possible is a new family that doesn't appreciate their new baby. Please keep blogging. Although, the more honest blogs tend to be more humorous. So I look forward to reading the stories that come from making this change!

Seriously though, Emily, you are wonderful to me.

  7. I read you, too! And although honesty is the best policy, I hate reading the complaining blogs, where people just whine about how sucky their lives are. So somewhere between perfect and awful is what I like to read.
